No Special Show From Rajni Kanth

Frenzied fans performing milk abishekam in front of life- size hoardings of Rajnikant before the release of Enthiran could well be in for a big disappointment when the multi- million blockbuster hits the screens on October 1.

A free first show, traditionally screened exclusively for fans on the day of release of Rajnikant’s movies, seems unlikely this time around. For, distributors have refused to screen the special show though the Rajni- Aishwarya Rai starrer, produced by Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures, will be screened in 40 theatres in Chennai.

Interestingly, a DMK honcho has bagged the distribution rights for this metro. In this scenario, the fans are banking on Rajnikant taking up their case with the producers and distributors to ensure that the established practice of screening the first show exclusively for them is followed this time too.
