Amisha Patel single, again

The actress broke it off with her long time boyfriend Kanav Puri, to focus on her career.

It’s been an on-again and off-again relationship. But now actress Amisha Patel is single for sure. The actress, who had been dating NRI businessman Kanav Puri since 2007, broke off with him in February 2010, only to reconcile a couple of months later.

Kanav wanted marriage but the actress was keen to remain unattached and continue to pursue her career in films. Subsequently, as the strain in their relationship started to deepen, the two decided to part amicably with the promise of remaining good friends.

A source close to the couple said, "It has been a while since the two have broken up. Amisha cherishes the relationship and it was good while it lasted.

Distance proved to be the final nail in the coffin as the differences never got resolved. They remain good friends, although they do not get to speak to each other often."

So how is Amisha dealing with the break up? Our source says, "Amisha is a strong girl and has been through much. She is okay and dealing with the break up well." Amisha has just signed Rajkumar Santoshi’s multi starrer, Power, and wants to focus on her career.

Despite our repeated calls, the actress remained unavailable for comments.
