The state of Kerala is famous for three things- coconut, gold and the two superstars Mohanlal and Mammootty. Speaking about gold, Mohanlal has been roped in as the brand ambassador for the Manappuram gold finance and since then he has been seen all over Kerala.

Something similar has been happening in Andhra Pradesh as well and this time, it is our very own Venkatesh who has taken the place of Mohanlal. The Manappuram gold ad in TV and newspapers has been showing Venky in an older and younger version and he has been promoting the group very well.

The other highlight is that the ad has got the raunchy sex siren Kaveri Jha as Venky’s wife. Overall, the act of Venky for the Kerala brand has now got many saying that he has become the AP Mohanlal. In a way, Manappuram has begun to pick up in a big way on the Telugu land, thanks to Venky.
