Sonia Order: Don’t Take Part In Jagan Yatra

The Congress high command has finally taken serious note of Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s brazen show of strength in the name of odarpu Yatra in various parts of the state.

Congress president Sonia Gandhi, who returned from her US trip a couple of days ago, summoned AICC incharge of AP affairs Veerappa Moily to her residence on Thursday evening and pulled him up for the chaotic situation in the state Congress, in the wake of Jagan’s yatra. Following her instructions, Moily is believed to have called up the party MPs and also the Pradesh Congress Committee leadership to send a clear message that no party leader or worker should participate in the Odarpu Yatra, as it would be Jagan’s personal yatra.

Sonia apparently turned serious over the reports that Jagan was threatening and blackmailing the party MLAs and MPs for participating in the Odarpu Yatra and making critical comments against those who were staying away. “Under any circumstances, she wants that the party leaders maintain strict discipline and not participate in the Jagan’s yatra,” reports from New Delhi, quoting the high command revealed.
