Roja May Come Back To Babu

After keeping herself away from politics for a long time, former Telugu Mahila president and glamour actress R J Roja has announced that she would stage a comeback into politics with a bang.

She invited the media to her residence on the occasion of Rakhi festival so as to get back into the limelight. Speaking to reporters on this occasion, Roja said there were offers from several Telugu Desam Party leaders and cadres to come back into the party. “They are asking me why I can’t come back into the TDP, when several leaders who had done immense harm to the party in the last elections could return to the party fold. I have not yet decided on which party I should join. If anything of that sort happens, I will let you know. But I will come back into politics sooner or later,” she said.

Roja, it appears, still has a ray of hope on Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s chances of launching a new political party. “If he follows his father’s foot steps and takes challenging decisions, everybody supports him and I am not an exception,” she said, in a diplomatic tone.

It appears she does not want to join the Congress now, because of uncertain political situation in the party. She might not get the right position and respect in the Rosaiah regime, she feels.
