Robo' Creates Huge Record In Andhra And Karnataka

When the film ‘Robo’ was being made with a mind blowing budget of Rs 190 crores, many were wondering as to how the makers would extract their costs. But now, it appears that the makers knew what they were doing and things have been going like they wanted.

Sources now reveal that the rights for the film have been sold at Rs 9.75 crores for Karnataka and here is the best part. The state of Andhra Pradesh has bagged the rights for an astronomical Rs 33 crores. Just few days back, it was heard that the film got sold for Rs 30 crores but now the latest price has come at a higher stake.

Those who have been watching the progress of the film say that it is the magic touch of Maran that is working very well. The start for this magnum opus has been good so it remains to be seen how the box office will receive this one. The three versions – Hindi, Tamil and Telugu will be released simultaneously by September end.
