Well, the man himself was asked about it in a recent interview and this is what he had to say about it. Ramu said that the ‘Tonsure’ scene didn’t have any connection with a film celebrity and added that it was not meant to create any controversy.

He maintained that the ‘Tonsure’ scene was merely the outcome of a speculation and as expected, he felt that it was the result of a media hype and propaganda. For now, the choice is left with the audience to actually wait for the scene to happen on the big screen and then decide.
