Speaking about ‘Khaleja’, Mahesh said that he was smitten by the script and this film would show him in a light that he was not seen before. He also maintained that though there are challenges with respect to image in the Telugu cinema, he tries his best to bring some sort of variety to his roles.

While the buzz is on that he has got three more movies in the pipeline – Srinu Vytla’s Dookudu, Rajamouli’s film and the remake of ‘3 Idiots’, the handsome actor justifies that nothing is confirmed as such and though they look materializing they have been spaced with enough gap. However, with reference to ‘3 Idiots’, Mahesh clarifies that only talks are on and nothing has been confirmed.

Sharing his thoughts about superstar Krishna his father, Mahesh Babu confessed that he is a big fan of his dad and the film ‘Alluri Seetaramaraju’ is his all time favorite. He also admitted that he can’t work like his father but is striving to create an image of his own.

Mahesh is open to bollywood as well if the script is worth it. The usually private person revealed his personal side when he said that marriage has been the greatest blessing for him and the best gift is his son Gautham. The importance of being there for loved ones and caring is something he is loving at the moment. As for his fitness, he doesn’t overdo at the gym and follows a simple diet, thanks to his genes.
