A R Rahman Creator Or Destroyer

He is known as the Mozart of Chennai and is known for his silent nature and sweet smiles. But his real power is known when he gets into the recording studio and starts working on his equipment. He is none other than A R Rahman and there was a time when the ‘Rahman’ia was at its peak and even today, the following is quite strong.

However, a new trend has begun to emerge about him and it is an opinion which is also getting stronger. Has Rahman lost his magic? Does he have what it takes to touch the hearts of the music lovers? For one, many have got down to basics and are trying to distinguish his skills. The question is whether Rahman is a Music creator or is he just a technician organizing sounds.

One can recall the time when the great legend Michael Jackson wanted to work with Rahman but it got dropped. Some say that MJ backed off since he discovered that Rahman is not a real composer but just an organizer. But when this happened, the Oscar award had not happened to Rahman so now if MJ was alive, he would have given it a strong thought. If the version about Rahman being a fabulous technician than a genius composer is true then maybe the recent tunes stand example.

Those who worked with Rahman in his budding days reveal that it was his team which was of high caliber but Rahman had that stroke of fate which took him to great heights. Only time will tell whether Rahman can prove his critics wrong or not.
