Naga Chaitanya Cannot Hang On ‘Vamsham’

There is a common streak noticed in the Telugu cine circuit and this has to do with the film families and their new generation actors. Apparently, the habit of associating with their family name has become a ritual of sorts but here is one lad who may not be in a position to do that.

He is none other than Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and the folks in the industry say that he cannot keep hanging onto the Akkineni tag. They add that Chaitu must prove his talent by himself and must be able to show versatility by doing films like ‘Manmadhudu’.

He made his debut with ‘Josh’ but the rough character didn’t work at the box office. Then, he scored a smashing hit with ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ but the credit went to the director Gautam Menon. So now, it is about time Chaitu proves his mettle through his own abilities and yes, the ‘Vamsham’ tag may not come in hand so much.
