Jagan Yatra Confusing Cadres, Says Sabbam

The Odaropu yatra launched by Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has created confusion in the party cadres, but it had definitely not weakened the party, said Anakapalle Lok Sabha member Mr Sabbam Hari.

Hari said the confusion was not because of Jagan, but because of the adversaries of former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy , who had needlessly blown the issue out of proportion. “If Odarpu Yatra is seen in humanitarian angle there is nothing wrong in it. No political motive should be attributed to the yatra, as Jagan himself had several times made it clear that he was organizing the Yatra in individual capacity. Never did the high command prevent Jagan from the yatra,” he said.

Hari also blamed it on the media for adding to the confusion. “In fact, the media is grossly divided over the issue. It should highlight the truth to enlighten the people,” he suggested. He also ruled out the speculations that Jagan was floating a new political party. The Congress will never try to lose Jagan as he was an asset to the party.
