Jagan loyalist dupes Sureedu

Sureedu, the ubiquitous personality behind late chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and later with his son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, is nowhere to be seen these days.

Can you guess the reason? According to reliable sources, Sureedu is in deep financial crisis, after he was allegedly duped by Kakinada MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy, a staunch loyalist of Jagan.

Sources said Sureedu had amassed huge wealth during YSR regime. One might recall his close association with Sarasa Devi who made huge money in advertisements from Sarva Sikhsha Abhiyan project. Though YSR was aware how both Sureedu and Sarasa Devi looted money, he protected him because he was his most trusted soldier.

After the death of YSR, Sureedu reportedly shifted all his black money to the Kakinada MLA as they shared some business connections. He trusted Chandrasekhara Reddy very much because he was also a trusted lieutenant of Jagan. Recently, when Sureedu wanted his money back for some business purposes, Chandrasekhara Reddy flatly denied of taking any money from him. Both of them had a quarrel over the issue and Sureedu brought it to the notice of Jagan.

However, Jagan could not come to Sureedu’s rescue as he badly needed the support of Kakinada MLA during the recent Odarpu Yatra. A crest-fallen Sureedu is now said to be in deep notedepression and keeping himself away from Jagan activities.
