If You Cut Our Tongues, What Should We Cut In You?

Suspended Pradesh Congress Committee president Ambati Rambabu was at it again. He went hammer and tongs against Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi who offered to extend support to the Rosaiah government in the event of a crisis.

“It is ridiculous on the part of Chiranjeevi to say that he would support the Congress government and Rosaiah to accept the offer. The PRP president is behaving just like a vegetable vendor, who is bargaining in front of Gandhi Bhavan. Before extending support to the Congress, let him introspect how many of his party MLAs are supporting his stand,” Ambati said, at a press conference in Guntur.

He took strong exception to the statement of Chiranjeevi’s brother-in-law Allu Aravind that they would cut the tongue of anyone who criticized Chiranjeevi and his blood bank activities. “Our blood is also boiling with the PRP leaders’ allegations of corruption against Y S Rajasekhara Reddy or his son Jaganmohan Reddy. If they cut our tongues, which part of them should we cut for making wild allegations against us?” Rambabu said.
