Genelia Soars On Multiple Projects

Genelia D’Souza has not only picked up numerous endorsements but is also taking on multiple projects.

The biggie that landed in her lap is rumoured to be the remake of Tamil hit Kaakha Kaakha starring John Abraham, after Sonam Kapoor, Diana Penty, and Asin didn’t get the part or couldn’t manage the required dates.

Producer Vipul Shah is making sure everything falls into place for this film, directed by Nishikant Kamath, as he plans to start shooting next month.

Having worked with John in Hook Ya Crook , Genelia seemed the best bet.

Hrithik Roshan, meanwhile, has agreed to do Karan Johar’s remake of Big B- starrer Agneepath . Karan is finalising heroines and his first preference was Priyanka Chopra but during discussion with the production team, it seemed like a better idea to have a fresh pairing with Hrithik. So Genelia’s name popped up. If she indeed lands both films, Genelia’s career will be on a soaring high.
