Chiru's Artificial Aggression Fails To Impress

Praja Rajyam Party president K Chiranjeevi might have been very impressive in his dialogue delivery and action in his movies, but as a politician, he does not appear to be doing any enough home work on his speech to attract people at his road shows, as a result of which he is miserably failing to evoke cheers from the crowds in the ongoing Praja Chaitanya Yatra.

Chiranjeevi is trying to put up an aggressive posture while addressing the gatherings, but it all looks very artificial. The emotions in his face are not reflected in his words and hence, are not being touching the hearts of the people. Even Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu is able to draw the attention of the crowds with his emotional outburst; and chief minister K Rosaiah with his witty comments, but not Chiranjeevi. As a result, the people are not able to identify with the issues being raised by him at the road shows.

On Friday, Chiranjeevi addressed several gatherings in Kadapa district; he raised several issues such as mushrooming of belt shops, scandals and irregularities in TTD, but he was not articulate enough to attract people. His oft-repeated statement that he had chosen to come to people because the assembly was being hijacked by the Congress and the TDP did not go down well with the people.

And Chiranjeevi tried to cover up his inefficient handling of his recent statements against kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and on his party’s support to the Rosaiah government. He declared that here after, he would not be scared of anybody and would go ahead with his strategy boldly. But that hardly had impressed the people and the media as well!
