Big B’s Hollywood heroine

Amitabh Bachchan has acted with just about every leading lady worth working with in Bollywood, and now one of his directors has set his sights on a Hollywood star for him. R Balki, who directed Big B in ’Paa’ and ’Cheeni Kum’, is said to be looking at multiple Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep to star opposite the B’wood superstar.

The movie is apparently a cross-cultural romance, and so Balki was very keen to get Streep on board. He’s believed to have said that it’s not really difficult to get a Hollywood star to sign on for a B’wood film, so long as the script is good.

And there’s also a B’wood heroine option for Big B if Meryl Streep doesn’t work out. It seems that Balki is also considering Sridevi for the part.
