Telugus know the power of Chiranjeevi fans that shook media with their words and confidence of making their favorite hero a Chief Minister. They never allowed any body to say a word against Chiranjeevi even indirectly before he contested in elections. They also battered hero Rajasekhar just for saying that Chiru has no political experience.
But now AR Rehman fans are not digesting when anybody says that the songs of Puli or Robo are not up to the mark.
Some are saying the tunes are ‘fururistic’.
Some say they are of ‘gen-next’ standard.
Some say they are in international standards.
Some are saying that since Rehman is an academy award winner, any sound he makes should be honored with big heart.
On the other hand lyricist Chandrabose is unhappy for Rehman killing his lyrics with his cacophonic composition and weak rendering of voices in ‘Komaram Puli’. And ‘Robo’ songs are no less to ‘Komaram Puli’ in the way it is reaching listeners.
Rehman refined film music till recent past and that is fine. But if he tries to redefine it becomes hard to define.
