Will Rosaiah play villain again for Jagan?

Once again, Chief Minister K Rosaiah is most likely to play spoilsport with Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s proposed tour programme from Srikakulam with effect from July 8.

Rosaiah is leaving for New Delhi on Friday and is expected to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Saturday to get her approval for the list of candidates for ensuing by-elections in Telangana. And during his interaction, she would definitely raise the issue of Jaganmohan Reddy’s request for the tour programme. And going by the talk within the Gandhi Bhavan circles, Rosaiah will definitely put his foot down firmly against Jagan’s tour programme.

“Already, there is a lot of groupism within the state Congress party due to Telangana agitation. If Jagan is allowed to go ahead with his tour, it will definitely lead to polarization of party rank and file and an alternative power centre would emerge within the state. It does not augur well for the party or the government,” Rosaiah would explain the Madam.

Already, his supporters like S Jaipal Reddy, Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy and others have brainwashed Sonia against the Kadapa MP. Under these circumstances, she might not take any step that would disturb the party in the state before the by-elections. Watch out for interesting political developments this week!
