What operation did Vijayashanti undergo?

Telangana Rashtra Samithi MP from Medak Vijayashanti, who dodged thearrest by the Banjara Hills police on Friday, returned to her house after the police left her house.

She told the media that she had undergone a surgery three weeks ago and she was still too weak to talk. “I have not done any mistake. I am prepared for the arrest,” she said.

Though nobody bothered to find out why Vijayashanti had gone to hospital and what operation she had undergone, only one television channel made a desperate bid to find out the cause. She told a few people that she had some intestinal problem; which does mean that she might have been operated upon for appendicitis. However, there is another version: Vijayashanti had some gynaecological problem and was advised to undergo hysterectomy. But if she really had undergone that surgery, she would not have had so much energy to make such hysterical statements calling upon the people to chop off those who opposed Telangana. Some others even suspected that she might have undergone abortion.

Whatever may be the cause, Vijayashanti had caused a lot of hungama in politics on Friday. Tension prevailed at the actor turned politician's house in Banjara Hills here when a police team reached there in the evening to arrest her. High drama continued for nearly two hours as TRS activists resisted the police attempts to enter the house. The Election Commission also issued a notice to Vijayashanti seeking clarification about her speech and it was handed over to her in the evening.
