Tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi Divorce

Tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi finally divorced his wife Shvetha Jaishankar who is a model at a Bandra court here on Thursday. They were married for the last six years. For a long time, their relationship was going through rough weather as Mahesh was never loyal to Shvetha. His wife was tried of his illegal relationships and she was very much hurt with his open affair with Bollywood actress Lara Dutta.

Lara and Bhupathi were together for quite sometime and very often make public appearance. Shvetha settled the issue with alimony mounting to Rs 5 crore and Rs 10 crore. The former model speaks her heart after seeking divorce from hubby Bhupathi. She said that she felt hurt and pain at his numerous affairs and very dishearthed with his entangled with Lara Dutta. She concludes, "No point in keeping their six-year-old marriage intact when nothing remained in it".

As now, Bhupathi is a free man, Lara has a clear path to push their relationship ahead.
