Naidu displays his ugly anti-YSR face

Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu has once again displayed his utter jealousy towards former chief minister late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, even after the latter’s unfortunate death.

Naidu strongly opposed the importance being given to YSR on his birthday on Thursday by holding celebrations in a big way. He asked his party MLAs and MLCs to stay away from the official celebrations of YSR birthday both in the assembly as well as at Ravindra Bharati in the afternoon.

Not only that, the TDP president opposed the celebration of YSR birthday within the state assembly premises. “How can the state Assembly be converted into a venue for celebrating birthdays etc. And why is it only for YSR? Why can’t it be for late NTR and other great leaders of the country?” he asked.

The party also strongly objected to unveiling of YSR’s portrait in the assembly committee hall. TDP deputy floor leader Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu wondered under what rule of the assembly was YSR’s portrait was unveiled. Speaker N Kirankumar Reddy said the TDP member could not question the Chair’s order and pointed out that YSR was the first chief minister to die while in office.
