'Lucky’ Kat has new nickname

Katrina Kaif has got a new nickname. She is being called ‘ Bollywood’s lucky mascot’. And considering her track record in the last three years, it is quite justified as well. Apart from the flop De Dana Dan last year, the actress has had a clean slate since 2007.

“Katrina has a long list of hits to her credit. She scored a hat- trick with Akshay Kumar and now seems to be repeating history with Ranbir Kapoor, with whom she worked in Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani and Raajneeti. The audience loves them,” a trade analyst says.

Katrina has never denied that she holds the audience’s appreciation over critical acclaim.

After the success of Raajneeti, the actress says, “Critics have loved the film and that feels great. But I have always waited for the audience’s reaction.” Is it a question of sour grapes, Kat?
