Wilkinson has talked about her past in her new book ’Sliding Into Home.’ "It’s been an uphill battle. And while life is great before I can talk about the best of times, I need to tell you about the worst," she said.
"I always knew that was wrong. I kind of lost myself for a little bit," Kendra told the ’Today’ Show about her stripping and doping days.
She said that even in her bad-girl days she knew she wanted a different life, reports the New York Daily News. "I was a very good person doing it, but I was kind of still embarrassed about it. It wasn’t me," Kendra said.
"I had so much pain that I just wanted to die. It wasn’t that I was trying to die, it was that the physical pain of cutting myself took away from my pain inside," she added
