'Jagan yatra will only help Cong'

Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy has stressed that the Odarpu Yatra being taken out by Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy will only benefit the Congress party.

Mekapati, however, said there was a need for party high command’s approval for the yatra. While unveiling the statue of YSR at Pandalapadu, he alleged that some vested interests had been trying to damage Jagan’s reputation before the party chief Sonia Gandhi by feeding misinformation against him.

He maintained that such efforts would not yield any results citing intelligence reports available with Sonia Gandhi. “Jagan has bright future and his services are necessary for Congress. Moreover people of the state are waiting for his leadership,” Rajamohan Reddy asserted.
