'Jagan has incredible leadership qualities'

Nellore MP Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy on Thursday threw his weight behind Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy, stating that the party would come to power for the third consecutive time in the state only if Jagan is given charge of the government.

Addressing party workers in Nellore, Rajamohan Reddy asserted that party will be able to win all the 41 Lok Sabha seats in 2014 general elections and also form government in the state if the reins of the party are handed over to Jagan. “I am not able to understand what these senior leaders will derive by feeding half truths to the high command against Jagan.

He will strengthen the party in AP and pave way for Rahul to become PM if the party takes him into confidence. Those who can not even win MPTC or ZPTC seats have bagged positions in Delhi and campaigning against the interests of the party,” he alleged.

“My elder son and Jagan were classmates while studying in London. Jagan has incredible leadership qualities and he is ready to use all his talents to improve the image of the party” Rajamohan Reddy maintained. He lamented over allegations against Jagan while reminding that he hails from the YSR family that faithfully followed Indira Gandhi, Rajiv and Sonia.

Stressing that no one will vote for TD if Congress party is under the leadership of Jagan, he said that all the party men including MP’s, MLA’s and cadres as well as general public are ready to follow Jagan. There is no loss to the party because of Odarpu yatra and it actually enhances the image of the party, Reddy added.
