Is Jagan’s phone being tapped?

Is Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s phone being tap ped? Sources close to the MP, who is all set to begin his Odarpu yatra from Srikakulam on July 8, the birth anniversary of his late father, said that Jagan is now avoiding telephonic conversations with the party leaders loyal to YSR.

While many leaders are wary of personally meeting him as his movements are being suspected by the party high command, the MP is said to have advised many loyalists not to call him on either the landline or the mobile phone. “Don’t call. Meet personally,” is what Jagan reportedly advised a young MP from Telangana when he wanted to talk to him on phone.

According to the leader, the MP told him that his phone might be under surveillance. “Jagan suspects that there is a watch on him and the people meeting him as well as the phone calls he is making and receiving,” said the Telangana MP.

Meanwhile, hoping that the party high command would give its consent to the Srikakulam leg of the Odarpu yatra, his spokespersons Ambati Rambabu and G Ramachandra Rao announced the schedule of the Kadapa MP’s tour.

As per the schedule, Jagan would visit Idupulapaya in Kadapa district to pay homage to his father at the samadhi. On July 7, he would leave for Srikakulam by Falaknuma Express from Hyderabad to resume the three-day yatra from Ichapuram on July 8,” Rambabu said.

He also said from July 11 to 15, the Kadapa MP would tour East Godavari district to meet the family members of those who allegedly died of shock after the sudden death of YSR on September 2 last year.

Many in the Jagan camp believe that the Congress high command would give its consent after consulting CM Rosaiah who is scheduled to visit New Delhi on Friday.
