Rosaiah shocking Jagan

The rare scene of Chief Minister K Rosaiah shaking hands with Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Sunday came as shocking to some and pleasant surprise to others.

Both Rosaiah and Jagan exchanged pleasantries at the engagement ceremony of Bhuma Nagi Reddy-Shobha’s daughter with Kadapa Mayor Ravindranath Reddy’s son on Sunday. They shared the same dais at the same time and even sat together among the guests, sharing a joke or two, much to the delight of many Congress leaders.

However, it was shocking to former minister J C Diwakar Reddy. “We were shocked to find both the leaders together. It clearly showed that there is no bad blood between the two. We hope everything will go on well in the Congress party and the groups will sink their differences on seeing Jagan and Rosaiah,” JC said.

The former minister said it was just impossible to implement prohibition in the state because the people have become addicted to liquor. “Prohibition has not become success in any country,” he said.
