Power Star as Jesus Christ

Pawan Kalyan is all set to play an all-important role in a film to be based on the life of Jesus Christ.

Singeetam Srinivas Rao, who made several experimental movies including Vichitra Sodaralu, Pushpaka Vimanam, Aditya 369, is directing this film in four languages - English, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam. In each of these versions, a local top hero would be playing the main role while rest of the cast involves with kid artistes. For Telugu version, Pawan Kalyan has agreed to do the key role.

“It is a children’s film on the life of Jesus Christ. But we are roping in top stars for each language to play an important role in the movie. Pawan Kalyan has given us green signal. It is too early to reveal his role,” producer Konda Krishnam Raju said.

The film goes to the sets from June 30 in Mumbai.
