NJR tells to Jagan

Former Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha member Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy said every Congress leader in the state would stand by Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy provided he follows the directions of the high command.

“I have always faithfully followed the party leadership with discipline and this should be the practice of all the party men,” he asserted. NJR was speaking at a colourful function organized to felicitate him on the occasion of his election to Rajya Sabha at Indira Bhavan here on Tuesday. The event was organized by the Congress leaders, who have been operating from Rajiv Bhavan, opposing Anam brothers.

In an obvious reference to Anam brothers, NJR said that some leaders have tried to convince the ministers against attending his felicitation function while pointing to the presence of state ministers, Dharmana Prasada Rao and Mopidevi Venkataramana. “Such tactics would not help anyone to improve their stature. Some leaders (read: Anam brothers) have predicted thin attendance for the function and even made fun about the event.  There is no use in claiming about ministerial berths held without achieving anything noteworthy for the district,” NJR said.
