Namitha refuses IIFA

South India's glamour queen Namitha has recently refused to be a part of the upcoming International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards to be held in Colombo from June 3 to 5, 2010. In her statement, the actress has confirmed that she will not attend the event in Colombo.

It is the Tamil people who made me what I am today. I will never do anything that may hurt the sentiments of Tamil people who are the reason for my popularity today, she added.
