John Abraham and his Hindi remake of the South winner 'Kaakha Kaakha' have been generating ample fodder for the grapevine.

After initial rumours that Johnny Boy refused to sport a moustache, or play a police officer in uniform, there's more meat on the tantrum front.

Reportedly, J. Abbs categorically refused to be paired up with Asin, though, filmmaker Vipul Shah was expressly keen on pencilling in the South star as she's scored in the Telugu original too. Besides, Shah was quite taken up with Asin's histrionic abilities during the filming of 'London Dreams.'

As per insiders, Johnny Boy's keen that Shah chose between a trio of options: Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor and Bipasha Basu.

Shah, irked well enough, dismisses the allegation stating, "John has no issues with Asin and her costumes are also ready for the film. The only hassle are the dates. John begins shooting for 'Dostana 2' towards July end and Asin's film 'Ready' goes on the floors in mid June with a month long schedule and we cannot disturb that. Our priority now is to work out John's dates."
