In fact, the BJP leaders were surprised to see the media reports that Jagan was interested in joining the party, if he was expelled from the Congress, but they rule out such a possibility. Kishan Reddy, however, said the doors were open for anybody.
The rumours of Jagan joining the BJP emanated during the Parliament standing committee meetings in New Delhi three days ago, where several BJP leaders approached Jagan to know what was happening in AP and the recent Mahbubabad incident. Since Jagan spent more time with them, media persons got the real fodder to speculate the news about his interest in BJP. Well, media can create smoke even without fire.
