What would Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy do if his last ditch efforts to secure permission from Congress president Sonia Gandhi for his Odarpu Yatra?

This question is leading to a lot of speculations in the political circles in the state at present. On Thursday, Jagan closeted with all his family members including mother Y Vijayalakshmi, sister Sharmila, wife Bharati, uncles Y S Vivekananda Reddy and Ravindranath Reddy to decide the future course of action if the high command does not give permission for his tour. They decided to make one last attempt to convince Sonia.

“If he gets the appointment, it would resolve many problems as Jagan would make the best use of the opportunity. Even then, if she denies permission or if he does not get the appointment, Jagan would be left with little choice to take his own decision,” sources said.

According to one speculation doing rounds in the political circles, if he does not get the permission from Sonia, Jagan and his mother would resign from their posts and go on the Odarpu Yatra together. That would kick off bigger sentiment among the people, sources said.
