Hansika in Bollywood

Hansika Motwani has opted for a tried and tested tradition to buoy her sagging career.

Motty scooted off to the South to greenlight a Tamil flick 'Mappillai' starring Dhanush and Manisha Koirala. Incidentally, the flick happens to be a remake of the Madhuri Dixit starrer 'Jamai Raja'. Motty enacts Dixit's role and Koirala will essay her mommy on screen.

Says an excited Hansika, "Sharing the same screen space with Manisha Koirala has truly been amazing. She is so calm and composed and makes acting look so easy."

Motty, incidentally, is over the moon with glee at being handpicked to reprise a role illumined by Dixit.

Expectedly, she's been doing a full on gush number to the media stating, "It's an honour to play the role which was played by Madhuri. She is someone I have always looked up to. She's immensely talented apart from being one of the most beautiful actresses of our times."
