Dia Mirza marrying Shoaib Akthar?

An Indo-Pak romance has always created a hype at the box-office. A la Veer Zaara, Pakeeza, Heena etc! Looks like the celluloid saga has happened in real life as well.

The recent Sania Mirza Shoaib Malik marriage  created quite a hype on both sides of the border. The dust hadn’t quite settled on it when another rumours of another cross country alliance surfaced. According to the Pakistan Media, speedster Shoaib Akhtar is set to wed Indian beauty queen Dia Mirza.

Some days ago, Pakistani channel Geo TV band had aired a feature claiming that Dia was to marry the Pakistani cricketer Akhtar. Not just that, she reportedly claimed that her wedding would be grander than the Sania Shoaib nuptials.

However, the pretty actress has lashed out, claiming that the reports are false and untrue. She vehemently denied the news, stating that they were a figment of an over active imagination. A source said that she doesn’t even know Shoaib Akhtar. She was quoted saying that she would happily announce her marriage to the world if it were true.

After Sania Shoaib and Sushmita Sen Wasim Akram, looks like the junta would like to see more couples of Indian damsels and Pakistani cricketers.
