YS Jagan Has Bigger Following Than YSR

With each passing day, the ‘Odarpu Yatra’ of Y S Jagan has been taking new turns and right now, it is sending few strong messages to many in the Gandhi Bhavan as well as the opposition circles. While Jagan has restricted it to meeting the families of the deceased and offering financial assistance, his presence has been creating ripples and is slowly turning out to be a political movement of sorts.

Recently, Jagan went to Eluru as part of this yatra and much to the surprise of the locals and our bureau correspondent, the response from the masses has been overwhelming. A college professor of the famous C R R College said “there is a huge following for Jagan in Eluru which is stunning, I never expected this kind of response to his visit. In a way, he has bigger following than YSR”.

A similar view was expressed by Lakshmi, a student at the St Theresa college who said “when I heard Jagan is in Eluru, just out of curiosity I thought I should go and see him but as soon as I saw him, I felt some sort of joy, he has got a charisma which is pleasing”.

The staff of the famous Ambica theatre said that it has been quite a while since they have seen a enigmatic leader after Rajiv Gandhi and Jagan seems to be the right kind of person to take the state to greater levels.
