Shoaib's Divorce

Rumour mills have been working round the clock ever since Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik gave divorce to his alleged first wife Ayesha Siddiqui.

According to one rumour, Shoaib had paid Rs 15 crore to Ayesha family as “maintenance,” though as per the records, there was no alimony paid, except Rs 15,000 as per the Sharia. The amount is not just for Siddiquis alone; everybody had a due share in that. The mediators had their money to the extent of Rs 1 crore each; the police also made a good amount to return the evidences submitted by Ayesha as part of the case and also Dr Babar, the family doctor of Siddiquis.

It is also learnt that part of the money was given by Sania Mirza as well. According to sources, Sania also had to shell down Rs 5 crore to Ayesha Siddiqui, to silence her mouth and leave Shoaib, so that her image would not get spoiled. But after Ayesha accepted the divorce and made a sarcastic comment that she was forgiving Shoaib for lying earlier, Sania blew her top and shouted at her. Anyway, the matter ended amicably.
