Shoaib in hurry to get out of India

It looks like Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik is eagerly looking forward to leaving India as early as possible in order to forget the bitter experience in Hyderabad.

Even as he got married to tennis beauty Sania Mirza on Monday, three days ahead of the original schedule by forcing her parents, Shoaib filed a petition in the High Court, seeking its intervention in getting back his passport from the Hyderabad police. The petition is expected to come up for hearing on Wednesday.

The Hyderabad police had confiscated his passport and deposited the same in Nampally criminal court. Unless the legal formalities are completed, they cannot return the passport to him, because of the seriousness of the cases filed against him by his alleged first wife Ayesha Siddiqui.

However, Shoaib is left with only two days to complete his marriage formalities the Mehendi programme was over on Tuesday; there would be Sangeet on Wednesday and the grand reception on Thursday. Now that the first night is also over, Shoaib wants to fly back to Pakistan and from there to Dubai as early as possible. Hence, the petition in the High Court, sources say.
