Radhakrishna grills KCR to silence

Perhaps for the first time, Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao was forced to go on the back foot and mince his words during a live interview in a television channel.

And the man who made KCR gulp a glass of water was Andhra Jyothy managing director V Radhakrishna. In a live chat with the TRS president in ABN-Andhra Jyothy channel on the occasion of the 10th year of TRS foundation, Radhakrishna grilled him as never before by posing controversial questions.

He asked KCR as to why he had changed his political stand so frequently  first with the Congress in 2004, then with Telugu Desam party and after the elections, with the NDA.

The TRS president absolutely had no answer, though he tried to put up a weak defence. The “break” has come to his rescue. Radhakrishna also forced KCR to commit that he had to use harsh language against the Andhra leaders. He also exposed the TRS president’s bluff on giving a call to the people of Telangana to boycott Andhra products. KCR had to search for an escape route saying the call was given by the Joint Action Committee and not by the TRS.

On many other issues, the TRS president had to look for excuses and could not simply defend himself.
