Puli creates flutter at Tirumala

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan on Thursday created a flutter at Alipiri, foothills of Tirumala, by deciding to trek the hills on foot, for the success of his forthcoming film “Puli.”

Pawan Kalyan, who arrived from Hyderabad to Renigunta airport, checked into a hotel near RTC bus station in the afternoon. The Praja Rajyam’s youth wing leaders gave wide publicity about his visit, saying that he would trek to Tirumala from Alipiri. At 2.30 pm, the news channels started scrolling that the actor would reach Alipiri in a few minutes. As a result, a large number of youth gathered at Alipiri creating security problems.

However, clad in the traditional white shirt and dhothi, Pawan Kalyan came out of his hotel room around 6.30 PM and declined to entertain the media. His personal bodyguards and the PR’s youth wing leaders circled him and his vehicle zoomed towards Alipiri.

At Alipiri, hundreds of youth thronged there to see the actor. Without talking to them, Pawan Kalyan entered the footpath through the security point accompanied by about 20 persons. The local media trekked up to Galigopuram along with his entourage and returned on insistence that he would not talk to the media. Some of the public deplored that his bodyguards had manhandled them.
