My job is not permanent: Rosaiah

In spite of getting a firm assurance from the Congress high command, Chief Minister K Rosaiah does not seem to be certain about his position for a long time. At times, he turns philosophical and expresses view that he might not last long in his post.

Speaking at the silver jubilee celebrations of the retired employees association on Monday, Rosaiah once again said there was a job security for the government employees, but not for politicians. “You are assured of your job till you attain the age of 58 years. But for us, there is no guarantee that we will stay in our position even for 58 days,” he pointed out.

As far as he was concerned, Rosaiah said he was not sure how long he would continue in his chief minister post. “In fact, I have already crossed the stage to continue in politics. I do not know how long I would continue in politics. But till my last day in politics, I will work for the welfare of the people,” he said.

Rosaiah had already completed 200 days in power, not just 58 days. As long as he has blessings of Madam Sonia Gandhi, he can be rest assured that his job is secured.
