KCR welcome to tour 'Seemandhra'

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao’s poser whether he would be allowed to tour the Andhra and Rayalaseema regions with 3,000 vehicles and 10,000 men, was taken with a pinch of salt by the Seemandhra leaders.

Congress MP from Anantapur A Venkatrami Reddy said if KCR really wanted to tour the Seemandhra areas, he was very much welcome. “He can come to our areas any time, any day and with any number of people. We don’t create any obstacles for him,” he said.

In the same breath, Reddy said KCR, too, should not try to instigate people of Telangana to create hurdles to Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy’s tour in Telangana. “In democracy, anybody can go anywhere. Nobody can stop others,” he said.

KCR’s challenge, in a way, has given a lot of breather to the Seemandhra leaders. Now, in the same pretext, they can seek permission from the government to take out rallies and demonstrations in Telangana to propagate united Andhra slogan. If anyone raises any objection, they can show accusing finger to KCR.
