Jagan vows to bring back YSR rule

Before launching his “Odarpu Yatra” in West Godavari district, Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had promised Chief Minister K Rosaiah and Pradesh Congress Committee president D Srinivas that he would not make any politicial statements nor would create any embarrassment to the present government.

But after seeing the response from the mobilised crowds to his meetings, Jagan is just not able to control his emotions and has started making political statements, albeit indirectly taking a dig at the Rosaiah government. At Mogalturu, where he unveiled the statue of YSR, Jagan went on explaining how his father would have made a difference in the government.

He pointed out that every welfare scheme would remind the people of YSR rule. “The day will come again when we all get the golden period. Let us get united and fight for the implementation of YSR’s ideals. I am confident we will get back the YSR rule once again sooner or later,” he said.

His statements clearly sent a message that the present government has failed to realise the dreams of YSR and that there is a need to bring back his family rule. Political observers say Jagan’s voice will grow more and more pungent in the coming days.
