Jagan impact on Cabinet reshuffle?

The ongoing “Odarpu Yatra” being undertaken by Kadapa MP in different parts of the state seems to have cast a shadow on the proposed Cabinet reshuffle by Chief Minister K Rosaiah.

According to political observers, Rosaiah, who will be leaving for New Delhi again on Wednesday would have tough task in getting the list of Cabinet aspirants approved. “Definitely there is tremendous pressure on Rosaiah not to touch Jagan supporters within the Cabinet, after seeing the kind of response Jagan has been getting for his tours.

There might be serious outcry from the people, if a couple of ministers are dropped. Jagan will definitely put pressure through loyal Congressmen to retain YSR loyalists in the Cabinet, while pressing for more to be included,” sources said.

If Rosaiah makes any changes, it would be at his own risk. And if the tour ends successfully, Jagan camp will also press for the tickets in the forthcoming byelections and even Rajya Sabha tickets, sources pointed out.
