Jagan begins tour without hungama

At last, Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday started his much-publicised “Odarpu Yatra” to console the family members of those who committed suicide after his father’s death in a helicopter crash in September last year.

After giving assurance that his yatra would be completely “apolitical” and his “personal” and has nothing do with the Congress party politics, Jagan began his tour without making any hungama. Except Mohd Ahmadulla, Minorities Welfare Minsiter who hails from Kadapa district and a few MLAs of the same district, there was not much hustle and bustle at his Sagar Society house. Even the media glare was not much, except of course Sakshi TV and NTV, which are YSR family’s mouth pieces.

Yet, it is expected that YSR’s supporters would gather in large numbers during Jagan’s tour and make it a grand success. If he keeps up his word given to Chief Minister K Rosaiah and PCC president D Srinivas and AICC incharge of AP affairs Veerappa Moily, there are not going to any fireworks from him during his tour. However, it will give him the much-needed boost to his image.
