Chiru advised to join Congress

Former minister and senior Congress leader R. Changa Reddy on Monday suggested that if Praja Rajyam president K Chiranjeevi can join the Congress party, he would have a very bright future.

Chenga Reddy shared the dais with Chiranjeevi at a function organised by a private hospital here on Monday. Speaking on this occasion, Reddy said he knew Chiranjeevi personally for the last several years. “When he had a providential escape from a flight mishap near Srikalahasti, I called on him. 

He is really a gentleman. Seeing his huge charisma with a big fan following, I thought he would become something (meaning that he would become the CM). But, it did not happen. But, it is better late than never,” Reddy observed, inviting the PR chief into the Congress.

Chiranjeevi, who listened to his words, remained silent and started smiling,  much to the embarrassment of the party cadres.
