Well known international model Padma Lakshmi, who described her prgenancy a “medical miracle”, has given birth to a daughter here. The baby was born Feb 20 and the mother has named her Krishna. Lakshmi, who divorced renowned author Salman Rushdie in 2007, has refused to name the father of her baby. The 39 year old beauty announced in October last year that she was expecting her first child, branding the pregnancy a “medical miracle” after years of struggling with endometriosis.
