Sticking to his 2008 December commitment Nagarjuna has rechristened himself as ‘King’.
So when the titles of the film Kedi were being displayed his name appeared as ‘King’ Nagarjuna. He has relinquished his title of Yuvasamrat after his son Naga Chaitanya decided to enter films.
When the film King released the title suited the actor the best, and he has preferred to stick to that title. This is probably the first time in the history of Tollywood that a star-actor has relinquished his title and adopted a new one. All the older actors always continued with their titles till the end of their careers.
This way Nag has created a new trend, in the meanwhile the Yuvasamrat title suits his son aptly.
