An elephant was brought there for the purpose of shooting. But abruptly it started some tumult and created disaster. It ran forcefully here and there. When mahot tried to bring it in control, it killed him by pressing under its feet. That created fears among all and they ran aimlessly. Aish and Abhi also ran in similar way along with Mani Rathnam. Elephant ran behind Aish and Abhi for sometime and changed its direction. Otherwise, the situation would have been worse.

Keeping the first 44 minutes away the rest of the movie arrests the audiences completely. The first 44 minutes would literally keep the pulse of audiences down and confused. Pale dialogues, insipid scenes between Brahmanandam and Hema, weak portrayal of Chiranjeevi in a senseless scene would let down the audiences. The real tempo starts as soon as the completion of the song ‘Naakosam nuvvu juttu peekkunte baagundi..’ The momentum develops with the first horse riding scene of Ram Charan chasing a bus. The interval scene hooks the audiences with lot of enthusiasm for sure. And the audiences can never turn their head and blink eye lid from then till climax. And the audiences come out from theatre with the experience of a rollercoaster ride, with the sound reverberating in hearts, with a heavy hangover of watching a new facet of Telugu cinema. The film proves to a historical one with respect to patronage of audiences of all classes. Rating Judgment: The movie scores 4/5 by the virtue of technical values and adventurous attempt. It would have scored bigger if the first 44 minutes were also dealt well with sensible comedy and treatment. Verdict: It’s good to watch the film as soon as possible.

Unlike other actors, who are reluctant about taking up multi-starrer projects, Deepika Padukone has firm belief in herself and no insecurity about her talent. No wonder then that she has signed ‘House Full’, which also stars sexy sirens like Lara Dutta and Jiah Khan as well as talented actors like Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh.

Directed by Sajid Khan, ‘House Full’ is a laugh-riot throughout. Talking about the film, Deepika said that her role is very meaty and interesting.

"You have to see the kind of script that has been offered to you before making a judgment around whether it is a solo heroine or a multiple heroine film", Deepika said to a news daily from London where she is currently shooting for ‘House Full’.

"There are certain scripts which can`t be complete without number of characters coming together; ‘House Full’ is one of them. Yes, the film is a multi-starrer but frankly, I don`t have a problem working in such films. How does my role fit in the film? Well, of course it had to be meaty enough for me to say yes," Deepika said.

Well, we hope it is meatier than the roles of Lara and Jiah or Deepika may end up repenting about choosing a multi-starrer project.

Speaking at the Los Angeles premiere of Paris, Not France, the socialite-actor said, "Of course I want to have a family and be a mom. I want to be like my mom who is amazing and she has four beautiful children so I’d love to have that one day."

The blonde beauty also explained how her party girl image is completely inconsistent with the reality that is her busy and taxing lifestyle. Namo Venkatesa in Europe

Victory Venkatesh and voluptuous beauty Trisha team’s upcoming Namo Venkatesa, directed by Sreenu Vaitla and produced by Anil Sunkara, Achanta Gopinath and Achanta Ram under the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment, will soon start rolling and will be extensively shot in Europe for 35 days. Launched on June 19 in Hyderabad, the movie is said to be a complete family entertainer.

Pachyderm runs riot, Abhi, Aish get stuck during 'Ravan' shoot

Bollywood actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwary Rai Bachchan failed to return to their hotel just after shooting for their new film "Ravan" on Wednesday evening after an elephant went out of control and killed its mahout.

The incident, which occurred after the shooting around 5 p.m. in Athirapally waterfalls area, blocked the road at nearby Athirapally forest area of Kerala's Thrissur district.

Kunju, the elephant, stood in the middle of the road, thus, obstructing the traffic to move through the road.

As per the latest information "Kunju" had been controlled by chaining it veterinary doctors were on their way from Thrissur to attend the disgruntled elephant, possibly to tranquillise it. .

The killed mahout was Andavan, aged 51.

"Ravan"is being shot in Hindi and Tamil at the thick forests near the waterfalls. Abhishek plays the lead role in the Hindi version while Tamil actor Vikram plays the lead role in regional version, with Aishwarya being the heroine in both versions of the film.

Looks like actress Sneha is all set to experiment with different roles in the industry. Kaminey as adults only :committee

The certificate awarded to a film by the censor board impacts its collection.Vishal Bharadwaj’s Kaminey has run into trouble with the censors and even after the revising committee saw the film, they refused to give it the U/A certificate that he was hoping for.

The options available to Vishal are that he can to go to the tribunal or seek legal help for his film. Apparently, the film has been given an A certificate due to its heavy dose of violence.

Our source said, “The examining committee saw the film on Tuesday afternoon and thought that the film had too much violence. They suggested major cuts. However, Vishal is not keen on brutally chopping the film and neither does he want an A certificate. So, the film was sent to the revising committee where Sharmila Tagore, the Chairperson, watched it with a panel of members in Delhi yesterday afternoon.

Ghosted a true lesbian love story

Filmmaker Monika Treut, who has long explored gay and lesbian themes and also has made a documentary about Taiwan, combines those interests in her latest narrative feature, ‘Ghosted,’ which awkwardly interweaves mystery and supernatural aspects into a lesbian love story.

Few will be interested, other than the veteran filmmaker`s dedicated fan base. The film opens on Friday via First Run Features.

The story, told in confusingly time-hopping fashion, depicts the burgeoning relationship between Sophie (Inga Busch), a Hamburg-based conceptual artist, and Wang Mei-li (Hu Ting-ting), a Taiwanese reporter. The two meet when Sophie opens her latest exhibition, devoted to her late lover, Chen Ai-ling (Huan-ru Ke), who died under mysterious circumstances.

As Mei-Li aggressively pursues Sophie romantically and professionally, a series of flashbacks gradually reveals the details of Sophie`s relationship with Ai-ling, who traveled to Hamburg in order to get information about her vanished father from her restaurateur uncle (Jack Kao).

Popular Villain Rajan P Dev Passed Away

Rajan P Dev is the Malayalam actor who got huge popularity with his Telugu films as well. He acted in several films with Pawan Kalyan, Jr NTR and many more and he is better known for Telugu audiences as ‘Gudumba Satti’ for his role in Khushi. He is 58 and breathed his last at Ernakulam this morning (July 29).He was admitted in hospital after vomiting blood and he was diagnosed with sever illness to liver. He is survived with wife Santha, daughter Ashamma and son Jibile Raj. So far he acted in 180 films in all south Indian languages. He was 58 and is survived by his wife, son and a daughter. Dev had been admitted to the Lakeshore hospital four days back after he vomitted blood at his residence at Angamally in Ernakulam district, family sources said. Dev began his career as a stage artiste in the 1970's and won the best actor award twice. He later switched over to films and portrayed villain and character roles with ease. He acted in over 142 Tamil, Kannada and Telugu films. The last film he acted was 'Pattanathil Bhootham', in which superstar Mammootty is the hero.

Magadheera’s Censor is over as reported earlier but the problem as many say is with the length of movie. It lasted for about 3 hr 20 minutes it seems. Earlier there was also a tiff between Allu Aravind and Rajamouli regarding the length of the movie as per a birdie. It was 3 hr 40 minutes earlier which was questioned by Aravind as it’s too long that tests the patience of audience. He forced Rajamouli to cut it shorter. Although not completely convinced with Aravind, there was no other way for Rajamouli than to cut short the length. Finally it landed at 3 hr 20 minutes. We have to see how this lengthy treat entices audiences.

Mallika avoids nude shot again?

When we first saw the promos of Mallika Sherawat starrer Hissss, we got the impression that she has indeed given a nude shot in the film. There were sequences seen in the extended promo that showed a nude butt shot of Mallika sliding in the mud and turning into a deadly snake.

We were in fact the first ones to have reported about it back then. While it suggested it was her, we have now found out that it is actually a body double used instead of Mallika.

So what actually happened to this dare bare attitude girl who once shed all her inhibitions on screen? It is learnt that when the shoot for the shot was going to take place, she requested to the film’s director, Jennifer Lynch that she would not be able to do the scene and it would be better to use a body double. Jennifer perhaps understood her predicament and canned the shot with a body double.

But this hasn’t been the first instance when Mallika has chickened out of giving a nude shot. Apparently, she was earlier supposed to do a nude scene in Mahesh Bhatt’s Murder (2004) but when she reached the sets she developed cold feet.

The actress says that she plans to continue acting but will also pursue her higher studies. Shamilee says that managing both her passions – acting and studies – is what she had been doing all her life.

Shamilee recalls that when Ajith came to know that she is a die hard fan of Shah Rukh Khan he promised to arrange a meeting with him if she was instrumental in getting him married to her sister. Keeping up his word, Ajith arranged the meeting, the star adds.

Nicole Kidman’s son Connor ‘has the hots for Miley Cyrus’

Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise’s adopted son Connor has apparently fallen for teen sensation Miley Cyrus.

The 14-year-old, who starred as a young Will Smith in the film Seven Pounds, has fallen for Cyrus after “shadowing her” on the set of her Disney show Hannah Montana.

Connor first met Cyrus after dad, Cruise, took him to one of the Hanna Montana shows in a bid to inspire him to get into acting.

“Tom thought it would be a good experience for him to see how other performers around his age work,” the Courier Mail quoted an insider as telling Star.

“It started as business but Miley was so sweet, Connor couldn’t help having feelings for her!” the insider added.

Michael Jackson up for Nobel Peace Prize?

Fans of pop legend Michael Jackson, including Indian admirers, have launched a massive online campaign to have their idol nominated for the coveted Nobel Peace Prize.

The Thriller hitmaker whose sudden death on June 25 resulted in a global outpouring of sorrow, is the ideal candidate for the prestigious prize, according to his fans who are lobbying for the late pop icon.

The groups which are active on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter, have thousands of members who have signed a petition which will be sent to the Nobel Peace Prize Committee, the deciding body based in Norway.

"He has done a great deal for this world and he deserves this for his contribution to humanity. If not him who else?" wrote Ramaswamy from India, on one of the petition sites.

The petitioners from all around the world are campaigning for Jackson citing the humanitarian work
undertaken by the ’King of Pop’.

"Michael Jackson deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for his humanitarian work! I don’t nominate him for his musical work or artist expression but for his compassion for all things living on this earth," wrote Antoinette Albert from California.

The campaigners cite the various charities aided by the singer, who had written the unity anthem We Are The World to raise awareness about the famine stricken countries of Africa during the 80’s.

"It would be nearly impossible to count the multiple hundreds of millions of dollars Michael has donated to charity from his own finances
and also through organising major fund raising events," reads one of the online petitions.

An online group which had earlier campaigned for Jackson’s nomination last year has also emerged. "We are a group of Michael Jackson fans who last year sent a letter to highly ranked people such as Nelson Mandela, Jimmy Carter, Kofi Annan and the United Nations," reads their website ForMichael.org.

As the number of people joining the petition increases, Jackson who died at the age of 50 of a suspected cardiac arrest, could quickly become a front-runner amongst other international names like Chinese activist Hu Jia and Vietnamese Buddhist monk Thich Quang.

From the world of music U2 front man Bono has also been previously nominated. Former winners of the Nobel Peace Prize include Nelson Mandela, Al Gore and Jimmy Carter.

Did Nikhil Chinappa ask for sexual favours?

Controversy’s split wide open on TV show Splitsvilla 2.The show ended almost a month ago, but the allegations are surfacing now. Aish and Shah Rukh compramise after seven year long cold war

Looks like Aishwarya and Shah Rukh’s seven year old cold war is soon going to end. The two will reportedly be seen in Shah Rukh Khan’s next home production.

According to reports, the clash of the two titans that began when Aishwarya was ousted from ‘Chalte Chalte’ (SRK’s home production) due to Salman’s incorrigible behaviour on the sets of the same is on the verge of a cease. Since the ouster episode had not gone down well with Ash.

The two chose to keep mum henceforth, leading to a subsequent cold war between the two. But things are now looking positive as the actors have apparently agreed to work together again.

Sources suggest that SRK and Ash have decided to bury their hatchets and work together for a flick to be produced by SRK’s ‘Red Chillies Entertainment’. A fan asked Hollywood actress Megan Fox if she would be interested in making a sex tape with him so that he could boost his career.

The strange man made the request during a Q&A round for the beauty’s new film Jonah Hex at the annual Comic-Con International convention in San Diego.

"My question is for Megan, I have a Sony HVR (video camera). It’s not a true HD, but it gives a pretty good image," News.com.au quoted the man as saying.

Michael Jackson personal doc gave deadly shot

Michael Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, administered the final deadly shot of the anaesthetic propofol that would end the pop star's life June 25, media reports here said.

Murray, who was at the Jackson California rental home when he died, administered the powerful drug that authorities believe killed the singer, CNN said citing a source close to the Jackson family and with knowledge of the investigation.

The coroner's office in Los Angeles is investigating the cause of Jackson's death. It has been waiting on toxicology lab results, but a final autopsy report is expected as soon as this week, a coroner's spokesman has said.

The cause of death is also the focus of an investigation by police, the state attorney general's office and the US Drug Enforcement Administration.

Dr. Conrad Murray has been identified in court papers as the subject of a manslaughter investigation, ABC News said. Edward Chernoff, an attorney for Murray, declined to comment on the report.

Murray, who was hired to monitor the entertainer for his planned 'This Is It' tour, was called to Jackson's house on June 24 and was the person who found him unconscious, not breathing in bed the next day. Murray's lawyers have maintained for weeks that the doctor was simply a witness in Jackson's death and had nothing to do with it.

Murray has been widely criticised by medical professionals for waiting more than 30 minutes to call 911 and for performing CPR on a bed instead of a hard surface, but he has continually denied giving Jackson any drug that could have killed him.

He has been secluded at his Las Vegas home and reportedly goes out with a security detail due to death threats.

In the aftermath of his death, Jackson's addiction to a variety of drugs was revealed, including propofol (trade name Diprivan), the analgesic Demerol and the painkiller Oxycontin. Track marks found on his arms support the theory that he was addicted to propofol.

Medical experts cited by the ABC News Medical Unit said that the amount of medications reportedly found in Jackson's rented home was 'jaw-dropping' and 'amazing.'

'That list is enough to put down a swarm of zombies,' said Richard Bradley, chief of the Division of EMS and Disaster Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

As far as listeners’ choice goes, Vishal’s track has a marked market edge, and Pritam has no qualms in admitting it.

“I’m the biggest Vishal Bhardwaj fan, no two ways about it. His Dhan Te Nan is awesome. I can’t stop listening to it. I wish I had composed it,” says the exuberant composer.Says Pritam, “Never before have two dance numbers been so closely competitive in the charts. The fact that, both Vishal’s Dhan Te Nan and my Twist have an old-fashioned sub-layer just goes to prove, retro is back.”

Both tracks have a ravishing retro feel to it. While Twist has borrowed its main riff from Hemans Mukherjee’s Nagin, the main hook line in Vishal’s Dhan Te Nan sounds suspiciously similar to the opening musical interlude of Laxmikant-Pyarelal’s Hai hai yeh majboori from Manoj Kumar’s Roti Kapda Aur Makaan.While Pritam’s Twist openly acknowledges its debt to its source material, Vishal pooh poohs the suggestion, that his Dhan Te Nan bears any resemblance to the older song.

The video footage showing Jr N T Rama Rao enjoying a drink party with his friends including actor Rajiv Kanakala, supposedly on the night when he met with accident in April, has created a stir in the political circles. Despite a clarification made by Rajiv Kanakala that the video footage was an old one and Jr NTR did not consume liquor on the night when he met with accident, it continued to be a hot news. But, a section of leaders are questioning as to what was wrong even if Jr NTR was drunk on that fateful day. “So what if he has the habit of consuming a peg or two? Was it a crime? Are all these people who trying to cash on this news not boozers? He is a young actor and he might have had this habit of partying? For that matter, can’t we find all these young actors going to pubs, boozing and dancing? If he was drunk at the time of driving, he paid the penalty for it in the form of accident. Model-turned-actress Megan Fox has declined to be the Bond girl in a forthcoming 007 movie in which she would have starred opposite Daniel Craig as one of his conquests.

Now for “Action Replay” she will don the look of an old woman and director Vipul Shah says he hired a Hollywood make-up artist to get the right make up on her face.

If certain media reports are to be believed, Aishwarya threw tantrums about getting her make-up done by someone other than her own make-up man, but Shah says otherwise.

“Ash did her old age make up with Paul, a Hollywood make-up artist. When we did it the first time, it did n’t work out well. When you are doing age make-up, you can’t correct it so it had to be removed fully and done again,” said Shah in a statement.

The filmmaker, who has made movies like “Waqt - The Race Against Time” and “Singh Is Kinng”, says the actress shot the scenes patiently.

“It took us six hours to got her look right. We started shooting at three in the morning and the shooting went on till 7 a.m.,” he said. “Action Replay” also stars Akshay Kumar. The story progresses backwards in time.

After their hit pairing in Partner, Katrina Kaif was approached for an extended cameo opposite Govinda in Abbas-Mustan’s Life Partner.But Katrina cited her inability to do the film as she was headed to London for a few weeks.

The makers have now roped in Amrita Rao for the role opposite ChiChi. Amrita’s last release was the Akshaye Khanna starrer Shortkut-The Con Is On, in which she played a very glamorous role.

Censor Board objects to a song from RGV’s Agyaat

We were not developing any rocket science there. However, I guess some people did take it all personally and equated 'Kambakkht Ishq' to World War III," said Kareena. She can't be immune to criticism though, isn't it? "Yes, I do tend to get upset and depressed when people try to pull me down. Sometimes it just comes from nowhere and you end up feeling that what did you really do so wrong to be facing such criticism. "But then I understand that there could be a phase in one's life when you get attacked from all corners. It's fine because I know it will pass," said the actress who is looking forward to the release of "Qurbaan" before year-end. Ramcharan Teja : 'Dad's my lighthouse'

His first film might have bombed at the box-office, but Ram Charan Tej is back in action with his second movie, Magadheera, a mythological magnum opus. With a planned release in over 1500 screens across 15 countries globally, the Rs 42 crore film is colossal. The 24-year-old who plays the role of a prince is not content with just the power of the numbers. The film will attempt to recreate the magic that Ram Charan’s father Chiranjeevi had created with the song Bangaru Kodi Petta in his film Ghrana Mogudu. Despite all this, Ram Charan, or Cherry as he is called, has his fingers crossed. “For now I’m not looking at records. I’ll talk about it after the release. We put in a lot of hard work. It took 260 days for us to shoot the film. While graphics and special effects are just padding, the story will strike a chord with the audience,” he says. While few freshers choose period films, Cherry goes by instinct, “I’ve not designed my career. This script came to me and I took it up. I somehow like period films, the horses, the battles and the costume. After this I want to do a non-commercial experimental film.” As for the failure of his debut, Chirutha, he’s pragmatic, “That movie didn’t yield the results we expected, probably due to audience expectations or flaws in the script. It was a learning experience.” A B.Com graduate from St. Mary’s College in the city and an alumnus of the London School of Theatre, Cherry says being a star son has both its advantages and drawbacks. “Everybody expects me to dance or act like my dad. My dad has been here 30 years while I am only three-years-old in the industry. He is my inspiration and my lighthouse. But I can’t be him. So, I don’t take feedback from everyone. It disturbs the pattern. Being a star son is certainly more positive than negative. It all depends on how we use it. I am carving my own style.” Charan is not disappointed over his father’s political debacle, “We did our best. Film charisma alone won’t do. Films are a different ball-game. Political success depends on team work. I have a Chiranjeevi, he doesn’t. So I thought it was my responsibility to support him which is why I campaigned for him.” The upcoming star however, doesn’t want Tollywood to be a family-driven industry and welcomes fresh faces even while he asserts that he’s working hard to prove himself as an actor, “Being Chiranjeevi’s son, I have to work doubly hard to prove myself. There are more expectations from me. And if as actors we don’t enhance our qualities and grow with every film, we will be pushed way behind in the fierce competition the industry is seeing these days.”

Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt and his partner Angelina Jolie are considering to buy one of the most expensive properties in New York.

'I heard they're ready to spend as much as $25 million,' contactmusic.com quoted a source as saying.

The couple, who have previously rented different properties at a cost of around $100,000 a month when working in the city, has been eyeing Apthorp, a 1908 property in Manhattan, which is being converted into lavish homes.

'The gated courtyard means they can get in and out of their car without being hassled by paparazzi. The building also has several other exits,' said the source.

The most expensive apartments boast up to 13 bedrooms and have 11-foot ceilings and wide hallways and will cost $15.5 million. But Pitt and Jolie want to buy two or three properties and join them together to create enough space for their six children.

No, Ram Gopal Varma is not jinxed. Or spooked. Lest you get thatimpression.But, yes, filmmakers revisit their own experiences. Not many know that RGV’s Agyaat, an adventure-thriller about a film unit shooting in dense jungles (with the absolutely hot Priyanka Kothari playing the lead actress), has been partially inspired from certain real-life experiences that his unit shooting the Urmila Matondkar-Fardeen Khan film Jungle had in 2000.

Jungle was shot in the Bandipur Forest Reserve in Karnataka. RGV revealed, “The forests were absolutely dense and the resort we were put up in was around 50 kms away from the location. In the course of the 40-day schedule, several unit members had paranormal experiences. One of the girls lost her way for half a day and when she returned to the unit, she was dumbstruck with fear. She returned to Mumbai that very day, abandoning the film.”

The filmmaker added, “We couldn’t pinpoint what exactly it was. Some felt it was a wild animal lurking around, others felt it could be sandalwood smuggler Veerappan (who was killed in 2004), whose men were keeping a silent watch on us. Whatever it was, it sure spooked the hell out of us.’’ Since the experience of a film unit shooting deep in a jungle provided fodder for a dramatic premise, RGV has elaborately developed it into Agyaat.

Kambakkht Ishq top on ‘Ghajini’, But poor Kareena have no time

Kambakkht Ishq, according to ads in newspapers, opened to a Rs 30 crore collection —bigger than ace Aamir Khan’s Ghajini, but leading lady Kareena Kapoor has barely had time to savour its success. Just back from the outdoor shoot for Three Idiots, she did attend the party thrown by co-star Akshay Kumar, but is down with a viral soon after. "We pretty much expected it to be big," she says between sniffles. "The criticism has to be taken with a pinch of salt."

She is the charming beauty of the Tollywood circuit and there was a time when she was a screen scorcher with her oozing sex appeal. She is none other than Charmee and right now she has been going through a phase of flops.

Charmee has not been able to score a single success after the film ‘Manthra’ and interestingly, all these roles have been more character driven and heroine oriented.

Now, this charming beauty has gone silent and sources say that the distributors have not been willing to take her projects up given her current market value.

However, there are those who say that Charmee has got it all in her to prove herself as an actress and she has done that many times.

Madonna’s look-alike actually a man

Queen of Pop Madonna has a look-alike that is ditto like her, but there is only one small difference between them - her duplicate is a man.

Elias Figueroa, 28, from Chile, started following the singer at a very early age, and he became so obsessed with her that he decided to devote his life to imitating her. "I was still a schoolboy. I heard ’'Like a Virgin’’ and it totally blew me away," the Telegraph quoted him as saying.

Figueroa, who earned just 12 pounds for his first gig, became such a hit that he was invited back immediately, and after two years could charge what he liked.

The first time he performed as Madonna to an audience was in 1996 when, at the age of 15, he gave a karaoke style performance at a friend’s birthday party.

"I watched every Madonna video I could find and studied every single detail her clothes, hair, make-up, gestures and attitude," he explained.

After going full-time eight years ago he’s now performing up to three times a week in front of crowds of up to 20,000, and earns up to 500 pounds a show, more than the average monthly wage in Chile.

"Being Madonna completes me. On stage I am her," he said.

Roma now for kollywood

After having impressed audiences in the Malayalam film industry, actress Roma is now all set to enter Kollywood with the film Vanjikkottai Valiban, being directed by debutant Jeeva.

The lass, who has acted in over 15 Malayalam films including movies like Chocolate, Notebook and Colours, is believed to be portraying a challenging role in the film that bears the same title as that of the yesteryear Gemini Ganesan classic, produced by SS Vasan.

Sources in the industry say that the actress plays a girl who’s determined not to fall in love. The film will also have Sakthi playing the lead. Vanjikkottai Valiban has music by Shankar, who is making his debut as a music director. Shankar, who is the son of veteran lyricist Ulundoorpettai Shanmugham, is also the brother of Saravanan, the director of Silambattam.

Despite the fact that he hails from a very successful film family, actor Aryan Rajesh has not been able to make his mark in the Tollywood circuit. Kat feels lonesome before birthday

The night before she flew to London, Katrina Kaif wore her dancing shoes and left for Aditya Chopra’s party.

The filmmaker was celebrating the success of his last release. However, Katrina said this was one of those few nights in Mumbai when she was out. “Normally I’m all dressed up and have nowhere to go,’’ she joked.

The actress was in an introspective mood. Her day was packed — a jewellery line press conference, meeting with a film corporation honcho for their next flick, some press and television interviews, a dozen other things to do before she flew off for her month-long vacation.

Thinking aloud, she said, “God, there are so many people from the industry in London at this very moment. There is Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri, Karan Johar , Akshay Kumar , Deepika Padukone and a whole load of others. You can’t rule out the chance of bumping into someone or the other.’’

The celebrations will be followed by a short vacation in Spain and after that Kat intends to fly with her sister Isabel to New York. “While Isabel will rejoin school, I will spend some time on my own,’’ she said.
