Bollywood hot actress Lara Dutta will be seen as wife of Amitabh Bachchan in an upcoming film titled as ’The Actor’. The Actor’s young, beautiful, intelligent wife, who would be his pillar of strength and the only woman who could understand, bear and live with his capricious nature. The makers of the film felt that, Lara Dutta was perfect as the mature, understanding wife, who wasn’t too young or old to star opposite him.
This movie is based on the real life story of Dilip Kumar and Saira Banu. At the age of 44, actor Dilip kumar married the lovely young Saira Banu. He created quite a sensation in those days by marrying her, an actress half his age. In this movie Saira Banu’s role is played by Lara Dutta and Dilip kumar role by Amitabh Bachchan.
Kangana Ranaut has been roped into play a journalist in the film, who would trail the life of Big B in the movie.
